Project overview
Lenswork was fortunate enough to experience the remote schools of Aurukun, Coen and Hope Vale in Far North Queensland and capture a series of images over 5 days. These pictures highlight the Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy (CYAAA) 'best of both worlds' education to Indigenous students with the aim to close the academic achievement gap between indigenous and mainstream students.
