Project overview
I was assigned to cover the devastating floods in Brisbane, Australia for Fairfax Media after heavy storms descended on the state of Queensland. The project involved working 14 hour days for 5 days straight in extreme conditions with access to city suburbs completely cut off to the public. My brief was to portray the effect the muddy waters were having on residents, businesses and the emergency services as the river broke its banks.
